Persistent exhaustion is common in sarcoidosis and may be related to inflammation, sleep problems, pain, reduced fitness, anaemia, medicines or another condition. It is useful to describe when fatigue occurs and how it affects daily activities. A clinician can review symptoms, medicines and relevant tests. Gradual activity, rest and support may help, but worsening or unexplained fatigue should be assessed.
