Sarcoidosis and diabetes can occur together, and corticosteroids may raise blood-glucose levels. Symptoms such as thirst, frequent urination, blurred vision or unusual fatigue should be discussed with a clinician. Monitoring and treatment may need adjustment during illness or steroid therapy. Never change diabetes or sarcoidosis medicines without a coordinated medical plan.
